Beomeosa Temple – Inner Courtyard

November 10th, 2013

After the second gate, on higher ground, several steps above, there was the third gate, called Burimun Gate. The view from the gate to the ground below and the colorful trees on the mountain was awesome.IMG_8084 IMG_8085 IMG_8086 After passing the third gate, I saw this building. It’s called Bojeru Pavilion. IMG_8087

IMG_8088The view from the pavilion was even more awesome: IMG_8089 The colorful flower paintings adorning the pavilion’s ceiling were interesting. The color and the design was simple yet they’re so pretty. IMG_8090 IMG_8093 IMG_8094 IMG_8095 IMG_8096 IMG_8091 IMG_8092

Seated on a higher ground from the pavilion was the Daeungjeon Hall, the main hall of the temple and the oldest building in the complex.IMG_8099
